Update on progress

Oke so almost 2 days ago, I uploaded this test game and it got downloaded almost a 100 times and viewed a 1000 times, So  i think it is save to say that there are enough people that like the theme i am going with and that the game did not crash for most who have tried it out.

Yesterday i managed to cook, ship and upload a linux version without errors.  The first few tries i got some errors when packaging/shipping the game. However i am still not sure if the linux version just works at is now because the executable file is a "SH" file and it is only 1kb. Hopefully some experienced linux users can let me know soon if the game was able to run, But fear not, i am not afraid to not shave my neck and to dust off a old PC i have and install linux on there so i can test it out myself in the feature.
Furthermore i have tried to ship it for Android and Mac , but it failed and give me some errors so i have some research to do for that.

After my attempts to ship it to different platforms i realized i might as well throw some more money at this project to be able to upload a decent intro faster,  so i went on unreal marketplace to look for visual novel frameworks but it turns out the most of them are even more basic than what i already have. There was 1 with a decent settings and save&load system but that one did not use Datatables which is a very nice thing to use that i don't want to give up, its basically 1 place where you can control all assets that you want to show and play.

With that its back to fix up the current system and i got myself on fire! Got the scroll box in the save tab done, can scroll now with the middle mouse button or by rmb+drag or by just using the scroll button on the right.
The save slots now will show the image of the current row, and have the loading part almost done also(to show the image again when restarting the game).

For the actual load game i wanted to make it like in other visual novel where you have a load tab on the left side, but i decided to make it so that there is a load button under each save slot.
And lastly the ability to play sounds for each row and to stop playing the sounds when you go to the next row is almost done, i want to use Elevenlabs AI voice generator to let the characters speak.

That was it for now i hope i can give an update soon about when i can switch from making the system better to making the content instead.
