Hi,

The next update is going to take longer than expected, likely several months. Let me explain why and what has changed.

Since the last update, I spend most of my time trying to get the game smaller.
Some time ago I finally made it so that the engine can import .webp images, and use those images for the game.
However for some reason it makes the game slow as fuck and fixxing this requires a lot of knowledge about the engine that I don't have.
I’ll continue working on this, but with less urgency for now.
Because choices in the early game don’t impact later storylines, I plan to split the game into smaller chunks if it grows too large.

Maybe some of you have seen that the character models of Sammy and Roux are different from Mia and Kim. Those are MetaHumans from UE that I modified in a much older version of the engine.And now in the newer version I just can't get the modified files to import correctly.Mainly due to this and some other problems I have with Metahumans, I am going to use them as just background characters for now.
So Sammy and Roux will look different the next time. They will still be elves, but their face, hairstyle and clothing will be different.

So what did you made since the last update?
Well visually, pretty much nothing. Because I now have to redo most pictures with Sammy and Roux.
But for the framework I did fix/improve several things.Besides this I spend a lot of time on writing.
Few months ago I didn’t have a solid story in mind.But over the past few months, I’ve written a lot, including some major scenes for later in the story.
Currently, the game has nine in-game days fully written. Somewhere on day 11-13 the next character also gets introduced.
The story I had so far will pretty much stay the same, just as the personalities of the characters. The idea still is that the harem gets formed quickly, so the part where Roux comes to your room still has to happen early on in the game. I only made the part until that point a little bit longer.
The only significant change at the begin is that you will start out with a hotel and not a restaurant.

The next release will cover the story up to a day after the new character is introduced.This update will have much more content than the current version but will take some time to complete also.
